Chemical properties：Purple powder.Water soluble medium,soluble in water is bright red,its aqueous solution with dilute sulfuric acid to light blue,add strong hydrochloric acid to produce wine red precipitate,add strong alkali to red orange brown. Slightly soluble in ethanol is orange,insoluble in acetone. In concentrated sulfuric acid is bright red to magenta,after dilution to brown orange;Orange precipitate in concentrated nitric acid;Insoluble in concentrated lye;It dissolves in ammonia and is bright red. During the dyeing process,the color light of copper ion becomes dark,while the color light of iron ion does not change.
Usage：Mainly used for dyeing cotton, hemp, viscose and other fabrics, especially suitable for dyeing cotton knitwear, can also be used for dyeing silk, nylon and other fabrics.
