Chemical properties：Red powder. Insoluble in water, soluble in ethanol, acetone and other organic solvents. Resistant to 5% hydrochloric acid and sodium carbonate. It is blu-green in concentrated sulfuric acid and produces red precipitation after dilution. Insoluble in 10% sulfuric acid; Insoluble in concentrated sodium hydroxide solution.
Use：Solvent Red 25, also called Sudan Red B, belongs to an azo dye. It can be used for direct dyes, acid dyes, reactive dyes, metal complex dyes, disperse dyes, cationic dyes and polycondensation dyes and other synthetic dyes, used for a variety of natural and synthetic fibers dyeing and printing, as well as fur, plastic, rubber, ceramic products, grease coloring.
